Vilina Patra began her journey in Hindustani Classical music at a very young age under the tutelage of Shri Shyama Prasad Niyogi (Vishnupur Gharana) and later refined her musical skills with Dr. Ramshankar Singh (Ramrang Parampara). Currently, she is learning under the guidance of the renowned maestro Pt. Sanjeev Abhyankar Ji (Mewati Gharana).
Musical Experience

Doctorate in Music: Vilina earned her Ph.D. in Classical Music with a thesis titled "An Analytical Study Of Riyaaz Techniques Of Khayal Gayaki" from the Department of Music, S.N.D.T Women’s University, Pune, under Dr. Pournima Dhumale.

Graded Artist: She is a Graded Artist in Classical Vocal Music with All India Radio, Pune.

Academic Excellence: A Gold Medalist from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, she achieved the highest marks in both theory and practical for her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music.

Recordings: Vilina has recorded Hindi and Marathi devotional songs for various composers.

Performances: Vilina has performed extensively across India in cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, Varanasi, Jaipur, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Goa, Ranchi, Bokaro, and Jamshedpur. She has performed at prestigious music festivals like Banyan Tree, Pt. Jasraj's Pt. Motiram Pt. Maniram sangeet samaroh, Bharat Gayan Samaj Pune, Wah Taj Baithak. She also performed live for a digital music series organized by the Cheerup Foundation, California, USA.
